Moorside Pharmacy has been providing Community Pharmacy Services to the local people of Eccleshill, Undercliffe and surrounding areas since the new surgery and pharmacy premises were completed in 2012.
Independent
Moorside Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy, not part of a large national chain. We believe this enables us to offer a more personal service to patients and allows us to select our own range of 'over the counter' products.
Our staff
We have a small team of hard-working staff dedicated to providing you with the highest possible level of service. They are there to offer advice as well as dispensing your prescription. Please treat them with respect at all times.
Ownership
The pharmacy is jointly owned by a group of local pharmacists and some of the GPs at Moorside Surgery. Whilst we believe this enables us to provide a valuable complemetary service to that from the Surgery it does not mean that patients of Moorside Surgery have to receive their prescriptions from Moorside Pharmacy.
Numark membership
We are members of Numark, a network of independent pharmacies able to source own brand products - many available to patients at a discount compared to equivalent famous name products.
Complaints
We have a complaints leaflet available to patients which describes our complaints handling procedure should the service you receive not be of the standard we aim to provide and which you are entitled to expect.
